Job Title: Mechanical Field Technician – Rack Installer

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: 7AM – 5:30PM Monday – Friday (Overtime guaranteed)

Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00 an hour

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a warehouse, included but not limited to manual labor, forklift operation, housekeeping in the shop areas, additionally, we will train on the job for our specific industry
  • Conveyor belt industry experience a huge plus; Experience in conveyor installation, rack, detailing and run-in of installed equipment
  • Ability to lift 50-100+ pounds frequently
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Time management skills to handle multiple projects
  • Willing to travel extensively for long periods of time within the continental US

Job Description/Duties

  • Conveyor belt fabrication and work on virtually every component within the conveyor machines
  • Work in all conditions ex. indoors, outdoors, hot, cold, and on job sites throughout the US
  • Properly maintain tools & equipment used
  • Maneuver heavy objects daily
  • Read work orders, schematics, and specifications
  • Test mechanical equipment and products after installation and repairs
  • Use basic mathematics
  • Possess a high degree of safety awareness
  • Self-motivated; results oriented; task oriented
  • Good communicator and willing to take direction
  • Travel safely and in a timely manner with Company vehicles to job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned mechanical tasks within allotted time as assigned by Project Manager
  • Take personal responsibility for safety and the safety of others around
  • Report to the Project Manager; provide job site installation support with the goal of completing assigned task with focus on quality; and within planned hours and budget
