Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pre-treatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.

We are seeking a full-time creative and meticulous Draftsman to join our Engineering team.

Draftsman Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Sales staff to create system layouts in AutoCAD
• Facilitates and contributes to the development of system specifications
• Collaborates with the Engineering and Sales groups to change system specifications
• Majority time spent on drawing with AutoCAD software

• A degree is preferred, but not necessary with right experience level
• Proficient drafting skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficient in SolidWorks would be a definite plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
